It was delivered in very good condition. And it will be in my cabin which will partially off grid .
Just got this. Works Fantastic. Very quiet. Have it hooked up to a Inergy Kodiak. Connected to the 12 Volt socket. Do not need to turn on inverter. Test ran it in freezer mode, took about an hour to get to freezing temp. Ran it for 24 hours just on battery. Battery indicator just dropped 20%. Could easily run this for 4 Days without solar. Have 500 watts solar. So this set up will run off grid indefinitely. It is the perfect size for a single person or a couple. I like that it is smaller then a full size chest freezer. Can put this just about anywhere, takes up very little room. We have a side by side refrigerator in the kitchen and frankly the freezer is so skinny in that, you do not have much room. Put in a turkey and there goes one hole shelf. We completely emptied it into this chest freezer and sill have room for more. This can hold a lot of food. Not big enough for a body but does the job. Plus no dent in the electric bill. Live in California so with fire season coming our grid power will not be dependable. With this, I now have pease of mind. On top of that with supply chains kinda iffy right now. We can stock up in lockdown. Fast shipping Too.
